“You have to take this journey; you have to do the work because this your path. The good, the bad, and the ugly: it belongs to you. So own it.”
― Tonya Dalton, The Joy of Missing Out: Live More by Doing Less
Fun facts about me!
I am an Asian-American, first generation, and graduate from Missouri State (Springfield, Mo). My parents ran restaurants their whole life. I grew up around small businesses which sparked my early interest in sales and marketing. Upon moving towns with my family, I went to a different school every year until 5th grade, then we ended up in Missouri. Now, the Ozarks is my home.
My dad once said to me, “The night after we arrived in America, I put on an apron and started washing dishes and learned to cook in a kitchen.” My parents instilled in me a strong work ethic and the perseverance to accomplish any goals. They gave me an opportunity to pursue my dreams, and today I intend to take every lesson learned into account with every product, client, and business who entrusts me with their marketing goals.
What do I do on my free time:
[Hiking, and indulging into the outdoors] When traveling I enjoy finding a new place go hike with hopes of finding a decent scenery to make the pain a little more bearable.
[Cooking & Eating to my hearts content] I am what they call “ A Foodie” I love all types of food, I love to cook it, share it, eat it, take photos of it, oh and occasionally just watch it come to life (don’t search my YouTube history).
[Anime, Asian Flicks For Seasons!] Probably the most Asian thing about me, this honestly strengthened my ability to learn another language so I’m not upset. Just know if I’m in mid-episode you may have to wait a minute for me to come back.
[Scrolling the gram i.e., Instagram / Pinterest] Simply to please my soul of the many things I want to pursue to life, and enlighten myself on any growing trends.
[Writing] I like to express my thoughts into written words, it could be a quick short poem or a blog post but I find this as a way to stay in-tuned with myself.
